Does anyone know of any good website guides on how to spray a metal panel with just spray cans? Not had much luck with google and the halfords one seems about the best I found Car Maintenance - How To Guides

Am planning to strip down to bare metal first as it's currently not very pretty.

I have painted metal just using the skoda colour rattle-cans, and the lacquer that comes with them. Not normally much prep needed beyond a good clean.

Yep, for maximum durability.

You can get away without using etch but the cost of it versus the cost of having the do the whole lot again when it chips off... it's not worth it
