Here's the full story, i bought the car 18 months ago from someone on this site, No names mentioned at the moment!!!, and it appeared to be as was described to me.

The Dump Valve which Jabbasport fitted has been dumping for 18 months and now has stopped! looked under the bonnet and couldn't see it but i don't know much under there!!!, took it to a garage and they cant find it either!! MYSTERY.

the car is still running smoothly but just not dumping, no pipes are loose, no pipes have been cut or forced entry under bonnet to indicate it has been stolen!! (weird i know) Has anyone any suggestions.

Even if the car had the Dump Valve taken out before i bought it and i'd been conned, A. where was the loud dump coming from and B. why has it stopped now, i know all turbos have recirc valves which do make a slight noise but this was louder than that. Any Ideas????????

First the 'dump valve' is bolted directly onto the turbo which is only accessable from underneath the car hence the reason why you can't see it.

It says in your signiture you have the adjustable one fitted. Sounds likely that it is currently set to full recirculation (makes no noise).

cheers bud, maybe thats it, although i've never touched the valve to change to full circulation, any way i'll tell the garage where it should be and see if we can sort!!
