having owned 2 octavias (one with sensors and one without) , i have used my startling 'beautiful mind' type maths skills to come up with the following equation:

Having owned the Octy for a couple of years, with hindsight I would have had the parking sensors. Visibility out the back isn't stunningly good, although I have yet to hit anything! (looks around for wood to touch) And it was the *only* factory fit option I had

Most people on here swear by parking sensors. However, mine doesn't have them and I have not really had any problems with reversing & parking. The rear of the Octy is high though and if you aren't comfortable with that (or you are short ) then I guess they are a good option.
