Robbing Citroen Dealer!

Featured Replies

Just had a call from my dad - he took my mum's 6 year old, 15,000 mile Paxo 1.1 to the local Citroen dealer for a service, timing belt change and MOT.

Came out with a bill for 835 quid!!

Found a water pump leak - charged 52 quid + VAT and labour (50 + VAT per hour). Euro car parts price 15.50

Exhaust was blowing in the centre section (they said). Replaced CAT, and both silencers, charged 270 + 71 + 40 labour + VAT. Euro price: 71 + 35 +VAT.

Timing belt 15 quid - Euro 5.99

They are having a laugh!

They have a money back "if you can get it cheaper elsewhere" guarantee so he's off to get a quote from someone else and have a go.

Can't believe those prices!

Thats shocking. Citroens are crap though, I've had a few mates with Paxo's who have all had fairly major problems at a fairly early stage in their life.

It does seem disgraceful that though, its barely been used! :thumbdwn:
