My cousin likes his fabia but he thinks the clutch pedal is a little light.

Can the pedal be stiffened?

the only time I had a really stiff pedal was with a different clutch cable, but when changed to an OEM one after that other one snapped the pedal felt lighter and more free.

So can the clutch be adjusted to be a bit stiffer? or will he just have to live with it?

This is unusual as most car manufacturers are trying to keep the clutch as light as possible - I'd suggest buying an older Polo 6N or Ibiza 6K if he really wants some thing this size with a bit more feel or weight from his clutch pedal (along with the possibility of getting a broken cable or pedal or pedal box) - this is a most unusual request!!!(each to their own though)

Jesus I thought the Fabia was clutch was heavy compared to my Mrs' Polo and my Astra sport hatch

Modern cluches are WAY too light - feels like I am pressing down on a bendy teaspoon.

80's cluches were good - beefy, solid action.

Its hydraulic so you cant alter it other than to fit a heavier duty clutch.
