Pacific Blue?

Featured Replies

Anyone here seen Pacific Blue on a new Superb?

Was about to order a Greenline in Pacific Blue but then realised I actually have no idea what it really looks like.

Is Pacific Blue nice? Or rather what colour Greenline should I order?

James

isn't Pacific Blue the colour of the limited edition Blueline Fabia?

Yes it is. Which we still have yet to see any!

I would post pics, taken some today. Don't know how to do it though. Can anyone tell me or point me in the directions of instructions??

Top of the page there is a green bar, it says Gallery. Click on that and add them to there and then it will give you links which you can put them into the thread.

I hope these give you a good idea of what it's like.

needs a wash though !!

dont like that - quite old fashioned looking to me?

sorry robski90 but i have to agree with pauljmuk. its all down to personal tast in the end but we thought the darker colours didnt suit the superb. my wife thought rosso made it look like "an old mans car" and i can see what she means. i think pacific is too dark for my taste and shows the dirt a lot easier than a lighter colour.

however - you obviously like it as you chose it ! ! hope you enjoy your car. i will just sit here and count down the days until i get mine !

Well each to their own. I had the choice of white or this due the budget constraints I had to be within. It's the same colour as my old 04 superb and I still quite like it. I can understand why your wife didn't like rosso because it's brown and the 70's are long gone.

I think white would have been awful and would have made it look like a taxi. If I'd have gone for metallic I would have been looking at an SE and to be honest this car is so nice in Elegance I was more than happy to give up the colours I had originally asked for.

I've had this since monday and your wait will be worth it.

Thanks for posting the pictures of your new Pacific Blue Elegance

First 'real' pictures of that colour I have seen.

Looking at this or Candy White

i totally agree that pacific elegance is better than metallic SE - afterall you sit and look a the inside for most of the time to best to get the spec you want. Perhaps i am put off pacific and storm blue as they are nearly the same colour as my inky blue passat that i run.

i think you made the right decision - pacific is infinitely better than white. Saw a new audi TT in white the other day and it looked good - white does work on some cars but on others it looks wrong !

I've been looking at getting a 1.4TSi or a 1.9TDI in Pacific Blue

Asked the question of how much less I would get for the car in 3 years time in comparison to a mettalic and he said it would be £1000 less.

So save £400 at new but lose a £1000 down the line!!!

Don't trust car vendors, the more on the bill, the better. I'd ask a third party. Not sure who though.

I dont know if this has been posted before, but the german car tracker site AutoScout24 Europas Automarkt für Gebrauchtwagen und Neuwagen is a great place to find real pics of cars in different colors...

Just select the Skoda Superb, choose a EZ of 2008, so you will see the new models only and select the color you want to see.

Select 'detailsuche' to search with extra options, go to 'aubenfarbe'

This ofcourse requires a little german knowledge, for example blue=blau, grau=grey, rot=red, you can figure most out yourself ;-)

Colours do affect resale value based on the fact that the colour of the vehicle directly

affects the saleability of a car.

Doesn't matter if it's metallic or not. Like Fabia vRS a Corrida Red one is worth the same as a Diamond Silver Metallic assuming they are the same mileage/year/condition.
