hey ppl. ok im useles with the likes of stereo instalss and the likes but im gettin a sub and some 6x9s for my fab. are these easy to fit and get going easily? also will i need anything else and can i use them with the standard headunit in a 07 fabia?

You can use the 6*9s, which I assume you are putting on the rear shelf. You may need to extend the standard wiring to reach. Generally 6*9s are a no no as too much sound is coming from the rear. You would be better with a decent set-up at the front and the sub in the boot. You will need to amp the sub. You could get a small 2 channel amp to run the sub and have an aftermarket headunit power the fronts. Or get a 4 channel and run everything through that.

I would agree with dragonfly. Ignore the 6*9s and get a decent component upgrade at the front. This will give you much better sound quality.

Thats exactly what I've done... Just upgraded the door speakers and got a sub in the boot.

I currently have a sony gtx (can't remember the exact model number) with an iPod box too.
