Went to work, parked the car. Finished work, started the car. It starts and revs for 1-2 seconds then stalls. Tried it again and again. It takes longer to start than normal, then immediately cuts out. I'm thinking it might be something to do with the fuel pump. Any ideas?

Yep. The immobiliser. I didn't even know the car had an immobiliser. As it happens, I was absent-mindedly playing with the key while I was at work and obviously the chip fell out. Thanks for the advice. I. Am. An. Idiot.
