Featured Replies

Can anyone tell me if you can get a usb cable to connect my iPOD to my standard CD player/unit in my Fabia????

Ian:)

Dension Audio Systems

I have the Gateway 100 which connects my Nano to the Leon's CD changer socket.

The Gateway 300 has a USB port iirc.

I dont have the CD changer though mate.

I looked at the link you posted, will the Gateway100 do me??

Thanks for the help mate:thumbup:

Ian:)

But you will have a CD changer socket at the back of the radio.

That's where it plugs into.

The GW100 will allow you to play your iPod through your radio.

It works fine, we have one in SWMBO's and theres soon to be one in mine.

So with the gateway 300, i could use it to connect to my n95 8gb? i don't have an ipod, but use n95 for music. From what i can tell, that should work fine..... correct?

Steve,

If you just after a 3.5mm aux in then the Connects2 CTVSKX001 will do it, only £40 to! Below is where i bought mine from and the best price i could find (about a week ago)

Connects2 Skoda Fabia / Octavia auxiliary input adapter - CTVSKX001 from Connects2

Another  for the connects2 from me. I put them in both our vRS's installed and working in less than 20 mins each. and cost £60-odd for the pair. Couldn't warrant the extra cost of the Dension units as i was wanting one for each car..... Especially as the only 2 benefits were being able to charge the ipod and control tracks from the HU....... I just control the music with the ipod itself whilst it's in the holder.

Cheers

Dave.
