They don't look bad at all.

Have you seen the ones fitted to new Audi's though? The "pearl necklace" ones if you know what I mean. Chav, bling and so very girlie. You will never find my car with any...

Psst, where can I get some

I would have put them in the grill!

From what I can tell of the way the brackets fit, it would be easier to fit in a hole in part of the bumper.

Current overwhelming opinion is they are :thumbdwn: chavtastic/crap

I think they look really good if mounted in the bumper of the Octavia or the Fabia. But then I would say that wouldn't I ??

(If im honest though, I'm not too sure about the ones your looking at..:))

I think a wider strip looks better personally, but as always, each to their own :D

I'm not sure about them to be honest.

I saw an MG-ZR recently that had the Audi-style running lights, I don't think it looked quite right at all!

Know of any E-marked longer ones? There's the Hella one's but they're over £200.

Need E-marked ones so if you're pulled over by :cop: you can say - here look they're E-marked as DRL's and fully road legal, you can stick your £30 penalty fine ....:rofl::rofl:

Im not too sure about 'E marked' ones, but I know the police aren't interested one little bit in my LED's. And mine are on permanently. And I live in Hertfordshire, where the police hate motorists.

I have had them on for quite a few months now, and even had a pull off the police without anything being said to me. ;)

I don't think that they're breaking any laws, as otherwise they would be pulling over all new Audi's, Saabs, BMW's.... etc... Plus, as an HGV driver, I notice that lots of other HGV drives decorate their cabs with LEDs all the time.

Photochop of Hella LED one's, would require bumper cutting.

I've yet to see the aftermarket kits looking good on a car.

I think they would look better below the headlights as opposed to under the numberplate, but thats my opinion!

i'm not a big fan, but each to thier own...

on another subject, has anybody ever noticed ow much the front of the fav looks like that little mushroom geezer from super mario bros??

those lights might look good on the bottom edge of the wing mirror housings

  • 10 months later...

Where can I get the new ones from that are standard on new VRS??

  • 2 weeks later...

just forget you ever thought it and go to the pub instead lol

Can't say I'm a fan of the daylight running lights - only ones I kinda like are the BMW ones where they're concentric around the main headlight (although they might be sidelights?). The Audi "chain" ones look just "OK" to me, along with the VRS - just a bit too OTT, but then again, I'm conservative...
