Skoda Felicia Help

Featured Replies

Hi,

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, but hopefully someone can help me! I currently have a Skoda Felicia L as my run about car and yesterday I had a little problem. The charge light appeared on the dash when as I was accelerating. It is always there whilst accelerating, but seems to flicker faintly on tick over. Any clues what this could be? Any help appreciated.

Thanks very much in advanced,

Paul

alternator voltage regulator, well documented on this site if you use the search function

Honestly couldn't see the search button, but think its cause I wasn't a full member yet. Thanks though :)

If you take the voltage regulator off, via the two screws, you'll see the brushes, if they're worn out, thats your problem. If you can't find brushes to fit, then just get some a bit bigger and file them down. You'll need a soldering iron as well.
