Featured Replies

Right folks, got it fitted today :D Dunno if its the "placebo" effect but the car seems to be happier when boosting and i'm not panicing about popping the boost hose off anymore ;)

I've got some pics on my phone which i'll upload when i find the transfer cable

It looks cracking and gives you peace of mind when driving "spiritedly":rofl:

Managed to work a deal with him, but as he's not a site sponsor, he's doing all business through me for the time being.

tried it on my mates standard vrs and he said it felt different, definatley happier to boost. Also it gets rid of those STUPID clips on the flexi rubber hoses as you need to cut the metal collars off and jubbly clip it to the pipework.

Prices are £40 + P&P or can be collected :D (i've probab;y just broke a rule here......sorry :))

Sack stainless boost hoses.

Get see through ones!

I want I want I want I want lol

Will it be possible to have a 1/4" thread put into the main pipe to screw a boost nipple into?

  • Author

dont see why not joel. Want me to find out a price for you?

Yeah, would be cool.

It's just at the moment I have my boost hose nipple screwed into the black pipe at the left pipe, as can be seen here

DSCF1607.jpg

so does this pipe simply replace the black one then? How do the exisitng rubber bends attach to it?

I'm def up for one of these Davie, just need to get paid first!!

I'll contact you via PM when i want one bud:thumbup:

Ian:)

Any chance of a picture of it on the motor?

Aye, c'mon Davie, get out there with the camera phone!!:D

Joel - Shouldn't be a problem TBH. It replaces the plastic pipe, slightly larger bore (mm's larger ;))

You need to cut the metal collars off the bends (pipe is long enough to fit into the rubber bends) also gets rid of the stupid clips as you use jubilee clips to secure. The pipe has a "lip" so the pipe wont slip out under boost. Just going to load pics up ;)

Ian - Thats not a problem dude ;) we'll get you sorted out lol

I'll give him a call later for the ones that are looking for the boost gauge fitting and get a price for you ;)

its a 1/4 inch boost nipple in the hose your looking for or just the thread? Probably easier to do the threading in the pipe TBH

I'll find out asap

Looks much better Davie.
