Threading on the pipe would be fine mate, as I have the nipple with a 1/4" thread.

would this still fit also if you dont have an EGR race pipe?

I still have the standard EGR bit on my car and was wondering if The pipe and samco hose would still fit? if so how would i go about fitting the hose into the bit by the EGR. Cheers.

If you still have the standard EGR it'll fit, just involves doing the same to the top rubber hose as what is required with the hose at the intercooler.

Chop off the metal "collar" on the rubber bend and slide in the hose, clamping it with Jubilee clips

Cant remember the bore thickness of the samco hose i have, but i do know its slightly smaller than the standard hose (due to the metal collar)

I have my pipe insulated and had a TIG-welded bung tapped 1/8" NPT thread for the Water injection system. Works a treat.

And yes, the engine bay does get absolutely filthy out here, lol

PS Strongly suggest you insulate the pipe - it gets extremely hot next to the engine and metal will conduct the heat into the airflow rapidly, unlike the OEM plastic.

I may take one of these when the finances get a bit better!
