Look OK to me - always been a fan of the five spokes!

cheers Jason, I don't want anything too flash and they seem to be ok. I do like a set of OZ wheels and Momo but both are slightly out of my price range

I like 5 spokes as well , but I'm not keen on ones where they change width as they go out so I prefer Jason's.

Alloys are very much a personal choice though , so don't worry about telling me I'm wrong :)

I've got some RS6's on order for my fabia, and they look quite a lot like those.

Think they should look pretty smart, with the added bonus of beeing easy to clean. ;)

Yeah, they look good.

you know when it's been Jason'd!! :P

 Wouldn't know it looking at the reasonable quality of my false floor in the boot. Totally unlike me to construct something that acually works and looks OK from raw materials. :D

lol I know the feeling I've been at it for a week, everytime I see something I like it's either impossible to get hold of or out of my budget!! grrrr, oh and then of course I see something else lol

Just out of interest how do I get a pole up and running?

Nightmare aint it mate!

I find myself constantly looking at wheels with a bit of a polished dish, but for the fab, they aren't practical, well if you want to upgrade to bigger brakes. ;)

Then theres the ones that really fit the bill, but like you say, cost the bloody earth!

Thought about some multi spokes a la R32, but it's the cleaning of 'em that puts me off.

I went for some RS6's in the end, mainly for the simple lines, and ease to clean.

Can't help you with the poll dude, am new to this place.

The first ones look awful , although thats partly down to them having 4 studs on 5 spoke wheels.

The second ones however look excellent

I've been led to believe that they come also in 5 stud, so I'm guessing they will look better. the seconf alloy was one of the first wheels I picked so maybe I should go with them?

Also what are a good set of tyres to opt for if I can

Looks like another night on the pc *sigh*

Are these the 17" wheels from the Octavia L&K? What size tyres are needed to go on the Fabia?

Cheers, Jon

Nope , the L&K are six spokes IIRC

so which ones are the above?

so which ones are the above?
They were the 17s I had on my first furby before I bent them in a small inversion incident. :D They're called VW EVOLO alloys, 17" x 7.5J They're available new from most VW dealers as a sport accessory, but are generally quite rare in this country. Think they're normally around

Cheers  , very

...love the silver, that's the colour I'm gonna get :D

Plus one, ie 7.

ok got a issue here, I've norrowed it down to two different styles (well at lest I think I have lol) only trouble is one only come in 18" as the smallest but they do look the nats doodars! Do I go for them or do I stick with 17" and play it safe?

Also what are Toyo Sport tyres like?

Any help would good as I'm gettin confused (which doesn't take alot at the best of times)

Mike

as most places dont say wheather or not alloys are for the skoda or not, am i right in thinking that seat, and vw stud patterns are the same as the skoda stud patterns ... help appreciated

YES! but make sure its LATE VW/Seat/Audi etc, as the older golfs used four stud pattern.

Look out for magic 5 x 100 stud pattern and you can't go wrong... (well you might :D)

cheers mate
