Welcome to Briskoda.

Best to place this querie in the Fabia 1 section.

Hope this helps??

Hi

This is an Octy querie , so may be better in Octy section rather than the Fabia ;)

But be aware that the SDi Octy did have major problems with the gearboxes on these , and if I remember correctly (IIRC) then the lack of gear selection could be something to do with it

I am sorry , but it could be bad news

I hope not for your sake as it usually means new gearboxes

I will await someone coming along with a bit more knowledge on this

Sarah

oops sorry mate. :o:O

Hello and Welcome.

Might be worth getting the linkage cables adjusted. Otherwise, you're looking at a reconditioned box as a replacement.
