Don't De-Badge, Re-Badge!

Featured Replies

This is clearly the way to go as it sends out happy vibes, increases visibility and protects that Skoda badge for future generations to gaze at and bow to: Smiley

Although there's no actual mention of the vRS on the packaging, one need only read between the lines for it to become obvious that they've been made for the car as they are the exact same size as the Skoda badge.

Mine are going on at first light.

Might keep the front 'standard' though.

Will you just look at that badge when the sun hits it?!

As sublime as it is Mesmeric, eh?

You bet!

Note that the guy in the background went on to weep tears of joy after I got him to come over to gaze at the badge.

And see, below, how it all comes together when you step back a wee bit.

Meant to be, or what?!

In other news, and totally off topic, I reckon the location for this photoshoot would make an ideal venue for a Brisky meet.

What ab'dy else reckon?

From the Old Red Sandstone cliffs dating back to the Upper Devonian at one end (above), to the Art Deco-inspired concrete bollards at the other

(below), the whole mile-and-a-half of four lane-wide promenade is designated for free-of-charge, 90 degree to the flow of traffic, parking!

Not only that, but there is loads of grass to play on (footie, petanque, croquet, kite boarding, sledging, mowing etc) and a whole North Sea to swim

in and punt on.

And, perhaps more importantly, it's practically on my doorstep.

I think i can safely say both our vRS's will be keeping the rear Skoda badge. ;)

But each to their own.

Cheers

Dave.

Not sure about blinding them.

That could be dangerous.

They would, however, be welcome to bask and be steeped in Smiley Skoda's gorgeously garish glare.
