Got my PC back but I cant find a HDD??

Featured Replies

I got my PC back from repair at PC world, but I now have another dilema!

I physically have two hard drives in it, they are both connected (power and data cable)

I belive I can see them in the BIOS, they are the same model (details) and they also appear in "device manager"

But they do not both show up in "my computer"????

There is only the Local disk C:

any ideas?? Thanks

Are the hard drives SATA or IDE? if IDE are the ribbon cables connected OK and are they set to master or slave correctly? Arre the power cable connected to each hard drive? In the BIOS you should see the two drives

if your 2 physical drives are setup as a raid then you will only have a C:.

Is the sum total of space, the size of both HD's added together.
