Maybe i am stupid here but its too late to ring dvla at the moment but my tax disc runs out at the end of this month (November) I got my usual reminder and went to put 12 months tax on it today (20th November) I got in and left the new tax disc on the desk and now have noticed that it runs out of "october 2009) so it reads expiry 31/10/09 surley this should expire 30/11/09 as this is 12 months duration (end of november to end of the same month the next year)

If a tax disc runs out at the end of november 08 surley this should run until november 09

Am i right in thinking i have paid for 12 months tax but only got a disc for 11 :confused:

Take it back. They have picked the wrong disk out of the drawer. There should be no problem as it will be date stamped 20th November.

Thanks god i thought i was going mad tonight with this, as i was thinking if its been logged at 12 months and i have only 11 then the bloody neighbours will have a feild day when it comes to my expiry of oct 2009 :( and not november 09 the they will think i am running around untaxed, Then the next thing the police on my door and car towed away:(
