Got some day running lights the other day, Was thinking of fitting them to my Fabia but not sure what to wire them upto? Want them to come on with the ignition. Any ideas?

Instead of mucking about with the original wiring, your better running a power cable to a switch in the cabin, and running a cable from the switch back to the front lights. Jump in, Flick the switch, hay presto!!

But if you do that, make sure you have an inline fuse. . . .

I've gone a similar thing with the foglights on my g40 - I drilled the back of the foglights and made up a loom using a set of side repeater holders and mounted a switch on the dash. just enough power in them to light the glass
