well thought i wud post this up an let you all know the results!This report is on my vrs octy mk 1 using pipercross panel filter,007 and forge tip-everything else is currently standard!

Just come back today from seeing Will at performance torque as part of the group buy on here!

Having been to Will's set up before for a rr day i knew the guy knew what he was on about and is very much up together with his VAG forced induced stuff as well as being a decent guy!

A road test and diagnostic test also help reassure and nice to know the car is running as shud.I took advantage of having it rr before and after for comparison.

Intial results before brought up 178bhp(so pretty much on the money)and just over standard torque @182lb/ft(prob due to the fact id fitted a Forge TIP the previous day!?)

After the map she gained a sizeable bhp increase of 40 to just over 218bhp and a massive 243lb/ft of torque!!!!!:eek:.

Taking it out for a quick test run the power kicked in slightly after my power did before at about 3k but when it did it totally took me by suprise and before i realised it i was fast running out of road!Boosting all the way thru the range to 7k but at the same time as being rapid its not aggressive but progressive and very smooth.The torque in gear on the motorway means you can put ur foot down and the car will shift very quickly without need for a downchange!

I cannot stress how much of a different level this car now is!Best 225 ive ever spent modding a car!

What does the boost pressure peak at?

.... and what does the boost read when you get peak bhp?

Picture is a little grainy but peak power was around 5.5k and seems to hold boost well to 7k in 3rd!The graph is a fourth gear run.

nice looking torque curve there, it doesn't peak and fall away rapidly, holds well.

Do you have any boost plots? or even a figure of what the boost peaked at and what revs that was at?

Cracking map for a standard car, It hold torque through the revs very well. You just need the turbo back exhaust so you get higher peak torque and hold onto the bhp at the end of the revs a bit better.

Not sure on the boost figures but may be looking at putting in a gauge or one of those new digital lcd's for figures etc.I will be going back to santa pod if feb for a RWYB night racing event to compare to my old times pre map.Will let you all know the results(hopefully will have sorted the chassis by then as well!)
