Recently acquired a 2008 Roomster TDI. The blue paint job naturally invited the nickname Tardis, and I'm working on a 'Public Call Box' sticker to go on the rear door under the brake light.

Spent months looking for a compact wagon to take the family (wife, 2 teenage girls and a 28 kg labrador 'pup'). Our old V6 sedan with the kids and dog in the back just didn't work, and it was making expensive noises in the transmission.

The Roomster TDI was the best option by far, compared with the rest of the field, and the dog loves his personal space. The only down side was selling the sailboat to pay for it. Now also have a towbar and trailer, mainly for the times when both luggage and the dog have to come with us. [Oh . . . and with the towbar in place we can get another sailboat can't we dear?]
