I've found a ltd edition Superb II, I think they're calling it the Compact edition

AutoScout24: Detailseite

Well it is a 1.8 TSI, it goes to prove they don't have the power to get you out of trouble in a Superb after all

Ouch. I don't think that one's repairable.

Thats why jcblincs has not got his car yet, its still being repaired!!!

steady on - good job its steel grey and not sating grey as might just believe you !!!

is someone seriously trying to get 6000 euros for that heap of wreck. surely for safety reasons it should be scrapped.

looks like the passenger cell remained reasonably well intact and all the sirbags went off. hope they were OK.

In the shot from the front it looks like a Roomster

They should have RTFM on how to use "park assist"

I just hope there was no-one in the back.

I think thats improved the appearance of the Superb 100% :P

Makes you wonder. Perhaps the engine and some of the electrics can be "reconditioned". The back wheel has moved quite far forward into the passenger cell area. What do you think hit it? I presume for that amount of damage it would need to have been a lorry or something very big.

like a train or a fabia vrs flat out......what a waste of a super car

There's no visible blood so thats a good sign, I'd say it got rammed by a lorry or a coach.

On another look I think it might have been parked at the time, there's no blood and neither door has been opened, maybe it's the stolen edition, fell of the back of a transporter.

Nah a 2.0 is the ultimate Fabia

What a mess!

I think that's what was happening in photos 6 & 8.

Driver : So when do I hit the accelerator

Passenger : Hang on, just reading the manual

Driver : C'mon, c'mon I want to use this gizmo....

Bit of T-cut, that'll soon buff out.

Phil

Good to see little damage in driver compartment, but I pity the rear seat passengers

Someone got €5900 for it - that's what Endpreis means.

If you factor in the fact that he can get €1000 for the Columbus, probably the same for the seats, €100 each for any useable wheels etc. he'll soon get his money back without ever thinking of putting it back on the road.

Looks like it has just come back from the Sokda authorised repair centre I used (Snows in Fareham)

Ah Chris, I've been meaning to call you, I've had a moment of inspiration with the car, cos it's esssentially a Passat I now use Peter Cooper's for repairs, I figure a VW tech see's plenty of Passat's where a Skoda one see's a Superb once in a blue moon, they did my cambelt the other week, and it was £50 less than Spunkshot's wanted, it came to £422 including pump, tensioner and aux belts, took it in at 9am got it back at 1pm, and touch wood it's all good and the car still looks like it's never been apart, you may want to consider this route yourself once you don't have to take it to Skoda anymore.

Hi mate. Have been tied up with lots of major things over the last few months so not been on here. The dealer I used previously sent us a letter a few months back saying they were closing down (good) so I will prob send the Superb to the dealer in winchester for its final waranty work - (repairs of the damage caused by the previous dealer - dash installed so it vibrates, broken rear astray and air vents, damaged switchgear on drivers door, wrong seatbelt stalk installed and scratched gearknob)

The car has been hit three times (serves me right to park it) by various a$$holes over the last two months and keyed two more times, so will be having Sewards in Havant do all the body repairs (they seem very good - was impressed with their eye for detail)

Will be booking it in for a service shortly at Bognor Motors - and 1st MOT - will compare quotes with Coopers. (is that he one down the Eastern road?)

Want to get the car 100% perfect again over next few months - think this will be possible if it is kept away from Skoda.
