Hi there I am trying to replace my front brake pads, I am having difficulties to remove the callipers guide bolts. It look like it needs a hex but none of my hex tools will fit. I have two complete sets and not sizes will do. The 6mm is the closest one. Does it need a special tool? Does anyone know the size?

IIRC You need a 7mm bit. You can get a caliper key from Halfords that'll do the job. Or machine mart do full sets of hex bits.

Is it hex, double hex, torx or spline drive ? If you use the wrong one it can screw up the head of the bolt.
