Main dealer will sell you one for around £16 - Climatronic AC, with SatNav in Alu if I recognise the code correctly.

They will even sell you one in black for £5.

as an aside ive fitted the black one I had from my old car when I put the mfd2 in on my VRS. I much prefer it to the silver as it keeps the centre column all black plus its cheaper

dont know the part number off hand but its on vrstu's website

heres a quick pic, theres a weired red cast on the centre panel but it does look grey in real life, honest!

The black surround for your car should have the part number:

1Z0 858 069 C 9B9

It costs about the third of the price of the silver one.

I have the climatic AC in my car rather than the climatronic and I can only buy a black surround.

However I've sprayed mine up using VW Satin Silver and the result is actually realy good.

I personally prefer a silver surround on the stereo - but each to their own.

Received this today Colm,it was posted last Tues bust post are up the walls this time of year as can be appreciated.

Dealt with Gareth, helpful and polite bloke and with a saving of approx half price of the local stealers, I would def use them again
