Will a 1.6 petrol inst' panel fit a diesel

Featured Replies

Hi,

I was wondering if it would be possible to fit an instrument cluster from a newer 1.6 petrol felicia into an older 1.9 diesel felicia. One of the reasons I am thinking of trying this is due to the rev counter and digital clock. However, i am unsure if the conections will tally up and if I could swap what ever is in the coil light position for the coil icon. Any help and advice will be very welcome.

Many thanks

Ian

Rev counters arent the same for petrol and diesel though. Diesels dont rev as high to only go to 5k, petrols go to 7.

Hmmm sounds like that's a no no then, it's just that there is a yellow instrument panel from a felicia pickup VW Caddy going for a pound on ebay at the moment. Oh well
