Wheels/Tyres For '04 vRS Estate?

It's a completely standard car but my wife wants to put new wheels and tyres on it to improve its looks. Wider and lower profile if possible but not impractical. It's red.

Suggestions gratefully recieved.

Do a search in this forum - you'll find loads of suggestions and pics.

The general consensus is no bigger than 18x8, offset of 38mm or less.

Wife gives me stick about anything to my car...getting it remapped she thinks its just a service otherwise I would be in trouble!!! I think I will have to trade her in for one of the 'more reasonable' models...the wife that is.

Is the skoda scala slave cylinder concentric and located inside the gearbox for all models, or is it just the 1.5 engine which doesn't have it on the outside of hte gearbox? I'm seeing different reports about whether the gearbox needs to be removed to check or replace it on a 1.0 litre engine.

Hi all, Looking for a bit of advice on this one. My car is a 2013 Octavia vRS 2.0 TDI 184 (CUPA) with about 277,000 km. I'm getting an intermittent P0101 (MAF range/performance) and every now and then, but much less frequent, a P0402 (EGR excessive flow). The P0101 always seems to come back first, but the P0402 is much less frequent. The car still drives OK, no limp mode, but it definitely doesn't feel 100%, a little sluggish to accelerate,it actually seems to drive better with the MAF unplugged

Hello I have a Amunsen MIB2 with MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0359T SW0359 HW28 PART NUMBER 5Q0 035 874B I have been looking very where to find an update as i believe there is SW 0363 H31 that will work on my system. I have also read that SW 0456 HW41 also works but i am not 100%. is there anyone that has either of these software or hardware they are will to share or has anymore information that could help me please would be much appreciated. I have seen @SashaGrace @pab

Have come to use the A/C for the first time this past week and noticed that pressing the button for the recirculating air doesn’t appear to work. Button presses but nothing happens it doesn’t light up and stays off Also through the media center doesn’t do anything, wondering if anyone has come across this before? Or is it a trip to Skoda?

Hi guys, I just bought a 2019 skoda scala 1.0 TSI. My infotainment is quiote troublesome. It seems it's rebooting randomly, somentimes it take a minute driving other time is fine for 15 min then freezes and reboot but it always does stop working at some point. Now I am not sure if the unit needs replacing but i was thinking of doing an update first and try to solve it that way. This is the current update i think it's an ancient one...
