Featured Replies

Hi all, I plan to treat my octavia mk I to some parking sensors (DIY job). OEM one's are a bit expensive. I'm looking for suggestions....

Thinking about these: Dolphin Audio Parking Systems

Yep, these are the ones I bought for my Octy. Fitting was easy and they come colour coded. They are all basically the same as the ones in your original post, but under half the price.

GPS is a good seller as he replaced the main unit very quickly when mine developed a fault. Been working great ever since.

Would putting the sensors in the black trim be too high?

Thats where I have them and they work fine

How easy is to to get the sensor wires into the car?

I have read you have to remove the rear bumper to get access to the wiring for it to enter the boot, is this correct?

You dont have to do it that was but is the easiest.

I did mine by cutting a slightly bigger hole than needed under the black trim where they are mounted and then just fished them through one of the holes to wire them up.

All in all took about an hour to them from start to finish
