I've noticed over the last few weeks a small amount of oil collecting here. Anyone know what it is? Car is an Ibiza Cupra Diesel, remapped.

Should I be worried, or is it a vent?

That´s the EGR.

Maybe it could be the gasket agaist the manifold that is broken, lets hope so, because if the EGR is broken you will problably have to buy the whole EGR unit, and it´s pretty expensive..

You dont actually need to replace the unit mate, the car can function perfectly well without the EGR, Thus why some people get the Alard EGR Race Pipe which is basically a straight pipe without the EGR Valve on it. (This however causes the Engine Light to come on but can be Mapped out) Your other choice if you want to stop oil coming out of there is to get the EGR turned down by someone that has VAG-COM, This will reduce the EGR's functioning and will result in Less oil coming through the hole so your engine bay stays Cleaner for longer :P Or you could just put up with it as it is. Just means you get some oil in your engine bay, just clean the area every now and then.
