Personally although i havent driven either model, in dsg guise, i think it will take some convincing to give up the manual 6 speed gearbox, at least the torque is there when one pulls away, ive had an auto before,,,albeit not a dsg, and i dont think id go back to an auto again....the complexity of the dsg box and the sensors that go with it all adds up to something expensive later in cars ownership should anything goes wrong.....i'm sure a clutch replacement is far cheaper in a manual box than a gearbox off job to find out what is causing problems in a dsg superb.....hopefully you lucky owners wont have any problems with you flappy paddles and hessitant dsg boxes,,,,we need a high mileage rep to report here and let us know of any problems before prospective purshasers like myself part with large sums of money prior to purshasing a new superb 2
