Can anyone recommend a good speaker (front & Rear ) upgrade for my Octy, had enough of the truly awful output from the standard set now. Plus upgraded the HU now so i want to utilize the better output of the Sony HU.

Don't want to break the bank upgrading, so any ideas are welcome for not a lot of cash!

I got some rainbow speakers second hand off ebay and they are excellent. Some people will say you need to get shallow mount ones for the front but you can slightly modify a few bits and fit speakers with a larger magnet.

Thanks Chris, was looking to just do a straight swap for Components and not much cutting and fitting really. not a massive ICE fan, just want something that boosts the audio and not make it sound like it's playing on a radio!

I've previously bought FLI component speakers for previous cars, and these have been excellent for the price, as you wont need built in tweeters, as there are tweeters in the doors.

I've just checked in my Octavia - and the FLI Comp 6 speakers wont fit due to the metal bit of the door getting in the way - as the speakers are deeper than the stock speakers. So you might be better off with the speakers listed as fitting on the Pioneer website: (assuming they take into account the depth of the stock speakers)
