How many vRS SEs?

Featured Replies

Please Can Any One Tell Me How Many Fabia VRS SE Models Were Made.

I No 1000 Came To The Uk, But How Many Were Avalible Across europe And

Were They Numbered,And To The Same Spec?

there were 1000 SEs for Britain.

as far as I know, SEs were not sold as SE's anywhere else

Switzerland did get a "swiss blue" edition, around about the same time as the SE was out in the UK

http://pdfserver.datacase.ch/pdf/amag/skoda/deutsch/Preisliste/Fabia_RS_Blue_d.pdf

(PDF, in German)

the Swiss Blue edition differs from the SE in the seats, had maxi-Dot, Xenons, no mention of CD-changer or Cruise control, and you could add options like ESP, Sunroof and heated screenwash jets.

the cost 25,900 Swiss francs is (nowadays) ~£14.5k

Wonder why us Brits were graced with a special edition, surely Skodas sell better on the continent?

Do any of the UK specification cars have xenons, or was it a standard spec that they offered, so xenons werent part of it?

Is there an echo in here?

The SE is still my 1st choice for my next car. I hope if there is a Mk2 vRS , that Race Blue is among the standard colours.

Ok, we dont have that in sweden.. we dont even have leather option..

:) That's 1000 :+1:;)

I saw a blue vRS in Prague last year but on closer inspection although it was a vRS it only had the standard vRS half cream seats and not leather. TBH it looked like a std vRS but in the same colour blue.

Almost everywhere else in Europe you could pick from the full available colour range so when I was in Slovakia in 2004 I running around in a metallic green vRS rental car. All the cars for the Czech and Slovak markets have xenons as standard too.

The UK vRS SE left the factory with cloth interior. The seats were all removed at the docks then all retrimmed and numbered when here.

Yeah, was gunna say.. That PDF/promo flyer is a fake.

It's the same pic as the promo black vRS just photoshopped. Look at the pic of the interior.. not very "showroom"

Still, nice looking car ;)
