I'm new here Hi..

Featured Replies

Hi, a friend has just given me a V reg Octavia Estate 1.8 petrol. Its in really good nick, lots of miles on but maintained well. One or two electrical gremlins, most of whci I can live with, but the lates and worse is something I really need to fix. The tacho, speedo, fuel and temp dials will initally work for a few seconds then will not work for about 20 minutes and then will usually work OK. I have asked a few (non Skoda owner) friends who say its most probably a bad fuse connection and I should find the relevant one, clean it and perhaps put a tny bit of grease on the contacts. Any infoemed ideas out there? I don't even know where the fuses are situated yet, so will need a bit of help..

Thanks,

Paul

Hiya.

If you run a search, I know there's an Octavia fuse diagram been posted, which should help.

If you post about your other gremlins in the Octy 1 forum, we'll give those a go too.
