18 inch R8 alloys - advice needed urgently please!!

Featured Replies

Can anyone please tell me if the following alloys will fit onto a Fabia VRS.

225/40 R18, 18x8j and 5x100mm stud fitting.

I have been offered a set with tyres for £400 but need to let the person know asap.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

They might be a bit wide, don't know if 8 inches will fit, depends on the offset. But everything else is correct. Although might be a bit of a harsh ride with 18"s on. But quite a few people do have them. . .

If you can, ide maybe slip one on and check you get full lock on the steering etc. . .

Offset?

225 is too big to fit.

Hi do you mean RS8 alloys? u need to be running 215/35/18 for them to fit the fabia. i had the same on mine and had it lowered 40mm no rubbing at all even with a full load.

make sure offset is 35-40

Should be fine with thinner tyres.

215's or 205's over the 8" rim.

Is the car at a standard ride height?

8j is fine. tires WILL need to be 215/35/18.... but do expect some rubbing they are 18's after all...

Heres mine on stupid 18's

Looks like a rollerskate on 18s.

17s suit much better.

As said, they will fit no problem, but with 215/35/18 tyres on only. No rubbing issues at all.
