How long ago did I finish my conversion? Ever since that date I've been using an old door key to open the door (passenger side only due to dodgy barrel ) and then the flip key that came with my conversion to start the car....

Thanks to using the vRS wiring looms as well, a vagcom techie was this morning able to remote code in 2 flip keys I have (one still uncut - fleabay special). To top it off, it only took about 5 minutes, if that

I went without if for a few months.

My dodgy CD player was backfeeding the convenience and the CL didnt work.

I put the standard one back in and ive not looked back since.
