Any one has problem with his Odometer and trip meter?

Featured Replies

for the love of god i don't know why, but the only way they work is if i wedge a match stick between the reset level and the panel's glass (i know is not a glass, just don't know what its name is)

on top of that i really don't like the way it looks at night, is very hard to see them, i can disassemble the unit to clean it, if i knew what would be a good product to clean it (the little numbers especially the orange one)

overall, is just not a good look to have a match stick there all the time and have to bob your head forward or use a flashlight to see those numbers (big nuisance)

anyone have / had the same problem ????

Perhaps the bulb in the dash behind the speedo is dead or has become dislodged? If it's anything like the Favorit there are warning lights along the bottom, some of which are not used, but they still have bulbs fitted - so probably no need to buy a new bulb.

Is the matchstick used to reset the counter? Or are miles (or km) not added on without it? If so the only cure is probably a new clock.

light bulb ok, is not lack of light but dirt and yes, the trip meter doesn't add km without it
