Fabia 1.4 16v lowering Advice

Featured Replies

first of all sorry if this is in the wrong place.

i have just fitted some fabia vRS alloys to my fabia and am looking into lowering it, whats the best option? don't realy want to pay more than £280 and have seen on ebay some lowering springs for as little as £100 and as much as £260 which had rear lowering springs and coil-overs on the front.

I was thinking some thing like these Skoda Fabia Coilover lowering springs shock kit 150112 on eBay, also Suspension Components, Performance Tuning Parts, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 04-Jan-09 13:11:20 GMT)

do they sound any good?

I am new to this sort of thing so need some advice

thanks

anyone?

if you do a search there is loads of infomation on this. I personaly would not recomend JAMEX as I think there a little cheep and taky, and there made in the USA where a car going round a corner is like seeing a little green man........

For your budget your only going to get springs, i wouldn't recomend them either as after a while you will need new shocks as the springs will cause them to strain more and they will give up.

your not going to get any good suspension for under £400 in my view.

You really should save your cash if that's your budget, yes you can get springs for that amount but as above, the shocks will soon give up. My advice would be to save a little bit more and perhaps go for some coilovers, V-MAXX and Weitec do really good quality, low price coilovers compared to KW or Eibach which are brilliant but high cost.
