Now no more nasty boost leaks which i have been suffering from on the OEM pipework... took it a drive and feels sooo much better... must have regained some ponies :D

Thoughts?

Nice job mate.

Do you know if you have to have a 'race pipe'/egr remover thingy (gurr cant think of the name!).

Im loosing boost quite bad, and think this is the answer.

Dont think so bud... if you still have the egr you can use the OEM bend just cut the metal collar off it...

Personally i was loosing quite a bit of oil from the boost pipes so i had a problem.... now... not a drop of oil :D

Cool Cool.

I helped my pipes from not leaking so much by smearing silicone round the coller.

Proper pikey.

Looks a top job

Looking good :)

Glad you're pleased with it, as my pipe arrived recently...should be on at the end of the week.

Nice one Jase.

Looks good.

Nice one!

I'am thinking of doing the same mod.

Is it just a straight pipe with a 90 degree bend or is there any more bends to it?

the stainless pipe has two bends in it... i didnt make it personally purchased it off vrsdovit on here so maybe worth a pm

the silicon hose used was just a 90 degree 57mm one

looks good, although i am interested in the loosing boost was there a hiss when this happned also did the oil come from where those fancy clip things are on the plastic pipe at egr and behind o/s headlight ?

thanks

yeah my leaks were coming from both of the joins... oil was everywhere... cleaned it all up now though..

You could tell it was quite bad as my brake fluid resevouir kept getting covered in oil

No noise as such just felt boggy sometimes and down on power

where did you get your silicone bend?

I'm needing one to do the exact same as you, planning on buying the s/s pipe, silicone hose and egr bypass all at once so if you could maybe pm me with details on where you got your silicone ben that would be excellent!

any links to buy the pipe ?

Clips / Jubilee's

1 comes with the Allard EGR Valve

Then i used 4 in total... two for the bottom where it connects to the OEM pipework and 2 at the silicon bend... size of jubilee's / clips should range something like 45-60mm  (i used 3 from Homebase if your stuck 45-55mm jubilee clips - cheap too ;) )

cheers for the link for the hose mate

Hi there I have one of these to fit however I have a thread tapped in to connect my boost hose nipple.

i asked for a 1/4 thread however its much smaller, was wondering if VRS dovit or someone with the thread take off could tell me the size of the thread, its smaller than both 1/4 and 3/8

cheers

Does anyone know what size male thread fits a 3/8" female thread?
