eBay Advice

Featured Replies

Hi all.

I've just sold a car CD player on eBay. However the buyer is from Bulgaria.

At first I was a little unsure about posting it to there, however the buyer has 357 feedback and 99.7% positive.

It should be OK shouldnt it?

Advice appreciated.

If you DHL it or similar, it should be trackable just as easily in Bulgaria as in Birmingham, so if you're worried about the buyer keeping it but saying it was never delivered, then that might be an option. Expensive, though.

Never post ANYTHING uninsured that you can't afford to loose.

That goes for the UK as well as abroad.

You shouldn't have to but it is worth getting proof of postage for anything that you sell and if it has a high value (more than you are prepared to wright off) then get it insured and if at all possible (this varies country to country) get it signed for as well.

One reason to specify where you will and wont post to at the start of auction.

Generally, due to the rampant fraudsters and scammers on ebay that remain unchecked, I will only post to a verified and registered account address.

If they paid by paypal, does it show you are covered next to their name?
