vRS battery change

Featured Replies

Hi All

I think the battrey on my 53 VRS has seen better days as it has been fitted form new. When it starts it doesn't spin very quickly which is concerning, however when I got the car it didn't spin up as fast as other cars that I have owned so this may be normal.

I have changed many a car battrey before but was wondering if this will still be a simple case of one off and then fitting the replacement unit.

Will it still retain all the all the setting if this task is completed ASAP or will some need to be reset once fitted, such as radio, one click windows, clock and key FOB, etc.

Regards Chris

Yeah it's pretty simple, as normal.

You'll just need to reset the clock, radio and windows. You'll lose your trip computer data as well.

Key fobs are not affected.
