im interested in buying a fabia vrs soon just waitin till after crimbo to get 1 now.

what are the thing to look out for when buying 1

Yes fantastic cars

I would say that you will need to make sure the clutch is OK before buying one , as these do tend to wear quite quickly , and will be a problem if you think about modding it (or when you start modding it)

The front ARB is a common fault too

Most of it though is just common sense , like make sure it is not smoking when started up from cold , also check for knocking noises when the engine is cold too

Most garages will do a full check over of the car for you at a decent price , then you can be reassured that all is right with the car

Or if you are a member of the AA or RAC I am sure they do check overs too for you
