Anyone got any DIY methods for clearing washer jets?

Hi Loco,,the jet is working fine but as i said its the plastic cover with holes in which is stopping the stream from going up to the screen. Does any one have simular problem?. I suppose if it is norm i could drill larger holes in the plastic cover.

Mine only spouts a tiny bit of water onto the reart screen - basically right near the pivot an no-where else. The rear screen wash/wipe might just be the third most frustrating thing about my MkII VRS - after the fuel economy and the handling
