Hello! Just registered here having bought a 2001 Octavia Estate 2.0 petrol earlier, would probably have got a diesel if I could have found one locally but after my VW died I needed something before xmas really :) Picking it up Tuesday with a fresh MOT and the rear door electrics fixed hopefully :thumbup:

I'm currently hoping it's possible to retro-fit a better stereo rather than the tape player that's in it, prefably something I can plug an iPod into and get LW for the cricket when it's on.

Thanks everyone, still picking it up later but the garage haven't managed to repair the rear door lock yet so I'll be taking it back in the new year for repairs already :(
