what interiors fit mk1 octi?

Featured Replies

Hi all, I know the mk4 golf interior(-door cards) are a straight swap but which others can be used? I prefer a seat with a long base (I'm 6'2") like the TT leather ones, if these fit that would be great but what about the back seats? Leon Cupra? and what about the Passat, A6, A8? would be nice to have more adjustment/heating etc as the Octi Elegance seats in my 51 plate 4x4 aren't that good on a long journey or around the twisties. In my old model passat I could adjust the height of the back and front of the chair independantly but in the newer B5 passat and the Octi I can't?

As far as I know the door cards aren't a straight swap. the doors are different shapes and the mountings are different.

Its well covered on here allready but TT seats wont fit without custom subframes and anything from the A4 chassis cars (MK4 Golf etc) will fit. Passat, A4,A6 etc dont as far as i know.

Mk4 Golf R32 gets my vote.

do you mean anything from the A3? how much are custom subframe for the TT seats? I like the look of them and they are quite long on the base.

am I right in thinking that three door rears wont fit the Octi either?

In this thread vein, has anyone seen grey leather interior that will fit? Not sports, somethign easy to get in/out of and comfortable. I was wondering if there was a common grey Golf 4 SE/Highline option that would provide suitable seats, maybe with a rear armrest. My L&K has no rear armrest and it's top of the range!!!! I want something better to upgrade the new tdi to.

If I'd had the money available I would have just bought the car - thats Eddy's isn't it?

Some grey non Recaro seats from a Golf here;

Mk4 GOLF LEATHER HEATED RECARO INTERIOR, GTI, 4 MOTION on eBay, also, Volkswagen, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 28-Dec-08 20:25:52 GMT)

Although Seller didn't seem to like it when someone (not me) pointed out they were not Recaros!

Having looked around, I see some of the golf etc seats are electric. Does anyone know a) if the electric seats have the ecu built in and just require ground/+12/ign feeds rigging up and also B) if the airbags are plug and play with octavia wiring?

A lot seem to be 3 door too, any problem putting a 3 door set into a 4 door, other than obviously the door cards?

That gets my vote too, although that is my car. :)

The R32 seats in mine are from a 3 door. Fit like a glove and are very comfy and supportive and look super cool in my opinion.

None at all, fitment is the same. You will have easy access into the back but thats not important.

So do the R32 seats have airbags?
