Not a happy teddy!!!!!!!

Featured Replies

I was coming up the motorway yesterday on my way to Skegness and some t**T had obviously forgotten to cable tie his hub caps to his wheels because as he was going up the motorway in front of me one of them flew off and as I couldn't move it hit the front end of my VRS smashing the nearside fog lamp. My question to anybody out there is it easy enough to replace and does anybody know the best place to get a new one.

Thanks

Not had to change one on an Octy but should be pretty simple. I've changed fog lights on a Golf before and this week I've had both headlights and a rear light cluster out on the Octy. All dead easy.

Did you pull him in and demand he pay 4 it???

To be fair i think you are being a bit hard on them here - cable tying hub caps to wheels isnt exactly compulsory. Certainly i've never done it (and in an estimated 150,000 miles of driving in hubcapped cars have never lost one) and dont think i ever would, either.

Sorry to hear about what happened, though.
