There's always the white one ;)

Shame Pooky went.

At least the head gasket didnt go pop like on mine!!1

Hopefully you and the Punto will have good relations with the ladies as Pooky did ;)

this only thing the punto attracts is dirt! (lil joke to myself) my head gasket went i had it fixed lol i got a vid on my phone of the guy driving off in him...but!!!! every one sayiing that they think he just bought it for the wheells an parts and is going to scrap the rest! he didnt even test drive it!

I doubt Pooky will be scrapped, he's too good to be scrapped.

One of our family friends is looking for a car now, he came round today seeing if we knew someone.

But think Truro would be a little far.

Off to all things Italian eh?

Punto's aren't bad little cars to be fair.

Italian cars get way too much stick had a few in our family including:

Alfa GTV 3.0 24V

Alfa 164 3.0 24V (glorious engines in these)

Fiat Coupe 20v

Oh and not forgetting my mates 1.0 Uno!!!

All bombproof with few problems apart from the Uno's metal fatigue!!!

its not tht i dont like fiats lol just bit more of skoda person lol

I'm sure you will get a Fabia RS sometime in the future. I am still yearning for an Octavia RS - I have settled for a 1.6 for the time being though! I can't afford an RS and the insurance would be crazy!

fiat hasnt aquired the nick name in the trade "fix it again tomorrow" for nothing

anyway isnt metal fatigue fatal? :)

To be honest i have always found Fiat to be ok apart from rust and on earlier 80's cars dubious electricals!! However a lot of electrical equipment on cars now is standardised with one or two brand names supplying a lot of manufacturers.

The main problem with Italian cars in my opinion isn't the cars themselves but the customer service at dealers which is shocking along with their over inflated service charges.

Personally I feel the French have many more crimes to answer for. The Laguna series 2 for example, which had no end of trouble and the build quality on the C3 is terrible.

yeh i agree with you there :) french are by far the worst, my friend is a mechanic for renult vans he said wouldnt touch them with a barge pole all the wireing harness's are buring out on there new vans.. we had a peugeot partner mechanicaly it was sound but wouldnt rate them very highly, especialy when you start comparing them to stuff like skoda audi ect.. :)
