got an email today that my car is on the boat !! well it was actually shipped on saturday

but they cant confirm whether it has arrived on UK soil yet (so does this mean they genuinely cant confirm its arrival due to the car not being entered into the computer yet or.....does it mean the ship sank and they dare not tell me )

On my system it is showing as 'offshore' this may change through the day or overnight to 'at port' which means it's landed in the UK and awating collection by the transport company!

so we cant rule out the "sunk at sea" or "kidnapped by pirates" scenarios just yet !!! LOL

Glad I ordered the S.E.F.D. (Skoda Emergency Flotation Device) If the ferry sinks, cars so equipped make their own way to port. Others just sink.

Don't worry though, I'm sure you could patiently wait another 6 months!!!

Please don't hope for it in a hurry mine landed on our sunny shores last tuesday and cannot be shipped before the 29th Dec 13 sat on sheerness docks not bad for a high priority car.

Mr Ross Bull Skoda's customer services head will be receiving a very very strongly worded letter, bang goes me buying any more Skoda cars.
