It appears whilst changing the fuel pump the garage spilt a bit of petrol on the carpet under the seat. The smell has slightly penetrated the seat. Whats the best way of getting rid of the smell? I've cleaned the area with upholstery cleaner (scotts, came with car) and have sprikled a load of bicarb of soda about. Anything else to do/try?

I'd take it back to the garage but it being xmas I need the car.

I've had excellent results with "Autoglym Odor Eliminator" after failing with bicarb/vinigar/Fabreeze. That said, Petrol tends to fade after a while anyway in my experience.
