update

Featured Replies

just had my car into the dealers and they told me they done an update on the car does anyone know wat they where updating its a octavia vrs 2.0 fsit

It will help if you can find out what the Skoda Id was for the update - it is usually a 4 digit alphanumeric code eg "90D7". The dealer should be able to tell you, or it might even be on the paperwork for the work. Once you have that you can do a google search and find out what it is for, failing that someone here might know what it is about.

Likely an ECU update.

I'm surprised Skoda are paying for these to be done, as they're none urgent and can be done at a service.

From what the OP said it appeared his car was already in at the dealers (presumably for some other work), rather than being taken in specifically for the upgrade.
