Hi there, it helps if you post which model Felicia you have. My themostat and housing I got here http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Skoda-Felicia-1-3-Mpi-Thermostat-BRAND-NEW_W0QQitemZ400014400282QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item400014400282&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1301%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318 they are a reliable seller.

Your housing maybe broken internally so the stat is just floating around, mine was. Replace and you should see your gauge rise again. You may also want to check the sendor unit that sits in the top of the housing, I replaced that as well, now the gauge sits at the halfway mark.

Check this model stat housing fits your model, mine is a 99' 1.3mpi. Ask seller he is a skoda specialist spares seller.

i'm sorry to disagree, i checked out the picture and its the same thermostat as the one i need to pu in in mine, i have no thermostat and the needle goes 1/4 up,(80 degrees) and if i dont set the mix to lean its 75 degrees

your sender is simply not working, its on top of the same housing, should have blue ribbon in the bottom and is held down by a small clamp with 4 wires coming out of it

That sounds right. When my broken thermostat was removed the gauge moved to around the 1/4 mark. Everything still worked. Apparently, because of the poor thermostat design they often seize in the closed position after breaking up causing an overheating problem. I don't know if you can get a sensor from a non dealer source but Skoda dealers seem to offer complete assemblies only.

what they sell you in the dealer is what you see in the picture, the thermostat never comes alone since is kinda fixed to the assembly.

the temp sender is another part and it comes with a yellow and a blue ribbon, they both fit the felicia, but if you dont fit the correct one it doesn't read whell, if you dont have a reading at all, thats the part that you will need to replace
