Boost Gauge

Featured Replies

Hi guys, my first thread on here, Woo hoo.....

I'm fitting a boost gauge to my MK1 Vrs, does anyone know of the correct pipe to T into for the vacume? or will any on the inlet manifold do?

Not fitted one to a AUQ engine before, wanted to be sure.

My vauxhall had it straight onto the ECU..

You need to connect into the pipe that goes into the fuel pressure regulator on the right of the injector rail which is bolted to the top of the inlet manifold.

As I am feeling helpful here a few pics to assist you.

I routed the pipe through the bulkhead under the black plastic Wiring harness right side of engine bay, as there is already a grommet going throught the bulkhead. Meant no drilling. Also wrapped the pipe in plastic tubing to look like standard wiring.

Guys your all brilliant, thanks very much

Might look at routing my pipe via the off side and through the fire wall that way, then up into the A pillar and into the pod.

I'll power the display off the back of the cars light switch to, so it lights up with the side lights :)

That's how I wired mine up.
